This store has a good selection of fabrics, though some where quite dirty or had unexpected damages/snags, but this is not uncommon with fabric warehouses. Just inspect carefully before you buy! $15 a yard for 118' voile is a little ridiculous, especially considering the piece I received is quite possibly the worst cutting job I have seen in a decade of being a professional seamstress. My yardage was measured to the farthest edge and so what I got is too short on one side to use; given this stores strict no returns policy I wish they would take more care when cutting.
Worth a trip to the store but absolutely make sure to inspect what you're taking home carefully before you leave because the employees certainly arent.

My wife and I had a great experience at the store. It was a great place to shop. The staff was extremely helpful and the fabrics are easy to look through because they are assorted by color. This is now our go to place. I highly recommend going to Loomcraft.

Great experience and a fantastic place to shop! Super friendly staff and a very organized store. The bolts of fabric are sorted out by color, and a lot of choices within each color. I brought in a paint sample to find a matching fabric and had narrowed it down to 3 choices. I asked one of the employees - Anita - if she would help me in deciding the best choice for my needs. She actually suggested something in one of the sample books, which meant it needed to be ordered, and I completely agreed with her - it was a perfect match to the color I was searching for.
I highly recommend checking out this store.

This is my go-to for any and all of my fabric needs! Not only do they have a tremendous selection at value prices but it is clean, well organized and has friendly and helpful staff. A comparable fabric at Joann Fabrics or Hobby Lobby could run you double so DO NOT miss out on a great place to find your perfect fabric without breaking the bank. It's a bit off the beaten path but well worth the trip to shopper's heaven in Vernon Hills.

I was really impressed with the customer service, they went way out of their way to find some additional material I needed to finish my project. I thought I had bought enough material for this project, but as it turned out I needed twice as much to complete it. I sent an email hoping they might have some more in the back room and as it turned out they had just what I needed. They even set it aside for me to come in and get the material. They absolutely have the best customer service, which is very rare in todays society.

I came in looking for a fabric swatch for our couch.
They have a great selection of fabric to choose from. We worked with a Michelle and she was great! She was really pleasant, outgoing and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed working with her. Employees like her are valuable to a business for building that great customer service experience. Thank you for your help!

I've been going to Loomcraft for over 20 years. I have used their upholstery service many tines and used their fabrics on more projects than I can count. I went in today and needed assistance. One person was at the register area on her cell phone googling or texting and the other person that I asked for help, Jeanine, was so rude and had zero customer service skills. I had found a remnant that I liked and asked her if she knew if they had anything similar to the remnant. She kept repeating herself that the remnant I had was a remnant! That is why I asked her for help!!! She brought me over to the yellow section of fabric and told me to look here. I told her I needed help selecting a fabric and she actually said "this is an outlet & this is where the yellow fabric is, I don't know what we have" , I honestly could not believe the rudeness and the effort she was making in "not" helping me. After a few minutes of this, I just shook my head and said I will come back another day. I won't give up on Loomcraft after I had twenty great years of shopping with them but I hope they get their customer service in check. Jeanine should not be working with the public. What a shame for Loomcraft.
**when I go in again, I will update my review. Probably within the next month when I do a different project. Hopefully I can give five stars
